King Kong(1933) is one of the worlds first influential and iconic blockbusters, but now approaching its 100th birthday its Sound Design cannot be compared to its modern day successors. In this Project I used modern-day sound design techniques, plugins and equipment to completely remaster the final 10 minutes of the film and showcase it to a diverse audience to highlight just how important Sound is in evoking emotion and conveying empathy. To go alongside the final version of the film, I wrote a paper showing all my findings.
